When our founder and creative director, Steven Lindel started crafting jewelry in early 2014, it began as a hobby and a way to express creativity outside of his monotonous 9-5 job. He quickly realized he couldn’t just make loads of bracelets for himself and so Sovereign & Saint was born. This allowed his creative passion to be shared with others. What he didn’t realize at the time is that people really liked his work and so what began as a hobby, turned in to a side hustle and then grew into a full time enterprise.
This serial entrepreneur had no choice but to make his own path yet again and pursue the journey of Sovereign & Saint. He left his ‘safe’ job in late 2014 to pursue Sovereign & Saint full time and yes, there have been ups and downs along the way, but the journey is the reward and it is with this knowledge that we propel on the path of our own making, uncovering the rewards along the way. We look forward to the next three years and beyond.
